A solid pump with all the adapters needed to get started. The two brass adapters will change the pipe thread on the plastic adapter to either a male or female garden hose thread. Hooked the pump to 12 volts and it was pretty quiet. Measuring from 12 inches away, the pump was creating 57 decibels of sound (23 background decibels with pump off). The filter is 50 mesh.

This pump seems to be an improvement over my old pump; it is a bit quieter, has a larger flow, and the materials used in construction seem to be superior. I especially like the fact that all connections and a strainer are included. You can see by the picture that the fittings are in the same position so installation is easy. The 3-year warranty is an attractive feature.

I got this water pump to replace my current one which is very old. The instructions are very clear for installation and how to operate . As far as I can tell it looks like it will be a good and much quieter replacement for what I already have.

The old (very old) one got bad by an unexpected reason. This new one should be a drop in replacement although it does look as if the compartment needs a bit of cleanup to fit the shine of this new pump.The input screen and garden hose to half-inch adapters are a testament to the many uses for this pump and the inclusion in this kit is a nice bonus.

More quiet than old pump and better pressure.
