I was going to construct something out of wood to help my dog get into the car, but then I saw this !It is perfect in almost every way, and obviously well designed for its purpose: 1. Folds nicely into a suitcase sized package. 2. Non-slip surface. 3. Relatively light-weight aluminum (around 20 lbs). 4. Ratcheting top-edge, to allow better attachment to your doorframe or tailgate. 5. Rubber lower-edge to assist with slippage.Bottom line: Durable enough for even the heaviest pet, yet lightweight and compact for handling and storage. Well made and well designed. This is a winner for me in every way.

I ordered 2 diff ramps, both at the $100 price range, and this one is by far stronger, sturdier, grippier, and overall much better than the other. It is slightly heavier if that makes a difference for you. Im a 200lb male so weight for me is not an issue, I would prefer the quality and strength. This one also offers an adjustable end to adapt to different angles, that the other does not. This one opens and closes easily, has a decent latch, and is my pick vs the 2 I have tested thus far but I have to say, I do not see how any competition can top this one!

I needed a ramp for the bed of my truck to easily load my Jon Boat, I was shopping for one when I happened to see this dog ramp. It is perfect. Works as advertised, soft carpet, folds easy and has the handle. I love it.
